Red River Gorge Cabin Rentals

Our family invites you to stay in this beautiful cabin located in the center of 3 acres. Located right on the ridge of the mountain for a very private atmosphere, it has been recently renovated and is a perfect place to unwind. Whether it be in the swing on the back deck taking in the spectacular 12 mile view down the valley, relaxing in the outside hot tub, or taking a walk throughout the 3 acres, Honey Bear Love Cabin has something for you.

Our favorite thing to do is to sit by the large fire ring and gaze at the night sky for shooting stars. The fire ring is located under the milky way! A short walk beyond the fire ring out to the scenic overlook is where you can see one of the longest and awesome views down the Gorge. This is a great place for a romantic or family picnic. Many enjoy just sitting here looking down the valley at one of the best views in the entire Red River Gorge Area. There is also a path that starts at the fire ring that leads down to the large rock shelter. During certain times of the year one can hear the waterfall off to the left and follow that path; careful though, it's about a 200 ft drop and the last step would be a long one! The rock shelter cave is a favorite! More than a few adventurous youth have slept in there with sleeping bags listening to the river run below and the wind sweep across the valley. This cave is large enough to walk around in or just sit and conjour up thoughts of Indians and wonder what the first visitors to this area thought when they saw the beauty of the area.

Within a short walk of the Honey Bear are 3 lakes for plenty of fishing and exploring.

Inside the cabin there is a folder with brochures, maps and information about the endless number of things to do in the area like hiking, canoeing, and browsing the area gift shops.

This recently built, cozy cabin has just been added to our rental program. It is nestled back in the woods off of Ciffview Resort and located within minutes from the Red River Gorge Zipline, Natural Bridge State Park, Muir Valley, and the Red River Gorge. Hikers Retreat is a small one bedroom cabin with bath, kitchen, living room, and loft with a futon. There is a nice covered deck to sit out on and breath in nature. While in the late evenings you can rest your tired body after a long day of hiking and climbing in the comfortable couch in front of the firplace reading one of your favorite books or just talking with your friend about the days adventures.

This recently added cozy cabin is nestled toward the back of Cliffview Resort.  It is surrounded by trees in the front leading to a large window of cliffline as you walk around the back of the cabin.  This setting gives the best of both worlds with having the privacy and the view.  The cabin is a two bedroom and two bathroom home with a  new hot tub perched on the side deck.  It has the convenience of home with a nice size washer & dryer, dishwasher, microwave, full size refrigerator, oven, & coffeemaker.  This cabin is pet friendly so no sense in leaving your furry friend at home.  Come and enjoy a little vacation getaway and reconnect with yourself in the Hideaway Ridge Cabin.

This pleasant cabin is located towards the front of Cliffview Resort, across from the Pine Cove Cabin.  It is a cozy cabin with two private bedrooms and a loft with four twin beds.  Outside around the back of the cabin is a newly built deck which supports the new 7 person hot tub and overlooks the fire pit.  There is a charcoal grill which provides a perfect opportunity to spend the evening outside in nature hanging out with friends and family.  Don't leave your furry friend behind since this cabin is pet friendly! 

The Great Outdoors Cabin has a name that describes it all.  It is located within minutes from several adventure driven locations: Natural Bridge State Park, Muir Valley, Torrent Falls and the Red River Gorge being the most popular. This cabin is located toward the front of the resort. It is  easy to access and depart when heading to some of your favorite hiking trails and rock climbing areas.  After a day of hiking and climbing, the hot tub is waiting for you to soak your exhausted body.  It is pet friendly, so you can bring your furry friend to share in these adventurous experiences in life.  As the evening winds down, there is a fire pit in the front yard that invites you to sit by the fire and share the day's joys with those around you. 

GrandView is an authentic log cabin built right on a point. It has a great cliffline view from the back deck. With its wrap-around porch and inviting swing and chairs' it is easy to see why it is a local favorite. It has 2 bedrooms, each with queen size beds and a jacuzzi tub in one of the bedrooms. Only a short walk from Grandview is the resort lodge and the largest lake in the resort. It is perfect for fishing. The kitchen is fully supplied.

Down a private drive, Bear Necessities offers our guests the peacefulness and quiet retreat they are hoping for. This cozy cabin offers a 4-person hot tub on a covered deck and 2 private bedrooms, each having its own private bathroom. The open kitchen and eating area lead to an inviting sitting area with a woodburning fireplace and satellite tv. Outside, in the private backyard, our guests are welcome to enjoy a late-night campfire, but don't forget the marshmallows!

This cabin is pet friendly.

This is a cabin with a great location with a long private driveway. It has a hot tub on the covered back deck. It has a woodburning fireplace and 2 bathrooms and 2 private bedrooms with queen beds.  There is a great hiking trail from this cabin. You will love the privacy and the front porch swing.

Turkey Track is a very private cabin nestled in the woods away from it all. It has 2 bedrooms with queen beds and two full baths. It sleeps 4. The hot tub is on the covered porch. This cabin is nicely decorated and supplied. As you approach the cabin from the long private driveway, you see the cabin surrounded on 3 sides with a large deck with gas grill and inviting porch swing. Out back behind the cabin is where the firepit is located in the middle of a nice open yard which is great for tossing frisbee or letting the kids run around.

Sugar Shack is a great cabin that my wife and I enjoyed living in and recently put back in the rental program.  It is located across from the Inn/Conference Center and next to the Grandview cabin.  One of our favorite things to do was to sit in the front porch swing in the evenings and watch the wildlife around the lake.  The cabin is a 2 bedroom 2 bath with a leather pullout couch.  It has a fireplace in the very cozy and well decorated living room. The back deck and the firepit are surrounded by woods.  This cabin has always been very popular with families because it is a short walk down to the largest lake in the resort.  It has 2 docks on it, and is a great place to go and just sit. 

Making Memories is a friendly, warm place to return to after a day of fishing or hiking. Escape from the hustle of daily living to this charming oasis on the ridgetop top of Cliffview Resort.

Making Memories is a great cabin that has 2 bedrooms and a large loft. The 2 main bedrooms have queen beds. The loft has 4 twin beds, and with plenty of room left over, it makes a great place for kids to hang out. This cabin is nicely decorated and has a full kitchen. Everyone's favorite place in this cabin is the large back deck. It is surrounded by woods and offers a great view across the gorge.  The charcoal grill and patio furniture on the back deck make for great cookouts.

You are invited to leave the cares of the world behind as you enjoy the peace and quiet that Shooting Star offers. This cabin is in a very private wooded area and has a large deck with a picnic table and chairs outside. As you step inside, you really feel at home with the nicely decorated, spacious cabin. With hardwood floors throughout the living room and kitchen and a fully equipped kitchen, you can have a large family gathering and even watch the game on the widescreen TV. There are 2 private queen size beds in the 2 bedrooms. Upstairs is a loft with 4 twin beds. The highlight of this cabin is the large outside hot tub, perfect for a romantic evening or to soak after a long hike. There is plenty of parking off the paved road with a basketball hoop added. At Shooting Star you can enjoy complete seclusion and the peacefulness of the forest.

Pine Cove is a classic family/group cabin that has always been a favorite. One reason for its popularity is that it sleeps 10 and has 2 bathrooms.  It is located near the front of the resort and has a hot tub and basketball hoop with a nice flat paved driveway.

Kentucky Sunset is truly an amazing place. This is a perfect mountain retreat that offers one of the best views of the Natural Bridge State Park and Red River Gorge Area Cliffline. This great cabin is located at the end of a mountain ridge on about 7 acres of privacy. This authentic log cabin is a 2 bedroom 1 bath and welcomes you with a beautiful wrap around porch. Kentucky Sunset would be the perfect place for that special honeymoon, anniversary or quiet little getaway. It is pet friendly for pets up to 30 pounds.

Inspired by the spectacular cliffline views from this lot the owners being long time climbers of the Gorge envisioned a beautifully engineered log home that captures the essence of what people look for in a great rental cabin. From the "feel" or "Vibe" that the cabin gives the moment you see it to the warm and inviting ambient glow of the rock lined fireplace inside while you perch on the new leather couches in the living room you will know why Sundancer is destined to be a favorite cabin for many of our more discerning guests. We are taking reservations now for guests wishing to be amoung the first to walk on the gorgeous brazilian cherry hardwood floor and soak in the hot tub. Since pets will not be permitted it is a great option for our clients with pet allergies. Sundancer offers 2 private bedrooms with queen beds and a shared bathroom on the main level. The upstairs bedroom features two sets of bunk beds that are twin over full beds. Another full bathroom is located adjacent to it. The open loft has a fooseball.

Lovin Life on the Lake!!

One of the newest additions to our cabin rental program, Lakeside Dreamzzz has finished its first year, and we have had a wonderful response from many of the families who have enjoyed their vacation in Lakeside Dreamzzz. This beautiful cabin is located in a secluded area right on the edge of one of the many peaceful lakes in the resort. Those who love being on the waterfront would find this cabin to be a great choice for it has its own private dock. It is a premier cabin that sleeps 12 comfortably and has a large capacity washer and dryer. It has a large open kitchen, dining, and living area that overlooks the lake where you can easily host a large group or family. Another great feature about this cabin is that the hot tub and fire pit are both conveniently located on the side of the cabin providing optimal viewing of the lake. Imagine soaking in the hot tub after a long hike while a few feet away family members are sitting by the fire. All the while, you can see a magnificent view of the moon, stars, and lake. This cabin is not pet friendly. Extra $10 per person fee applies to groups over 8 people during the week.

Surrounded with large, mature trees, this recently built, semi-private cabin is built on a ridge and overlooks a majestic view of the lake and cliffline. It has a beautiful walkway that leads down to the lake and private dock. Inside, this premier cabin sleeps 14 comfortably with a large, open kitchen, dining, and living area that guests will find to have plenty of room for sitting and gathering. The upscale interior finish and decorating provide a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for creating a relaxing and peaceful retreat. It also includes a large capacity washer and dryer, basic kitchen supplies, and towels/linens. Outside of the cabin, you will find a newer, 4-6 person hot tub on the deck privately located toward the back of the cabin. The large deck completely wraps around the sides and front of the cabin allowing plenty of space to relax and enjoy the view. The charcoal grill and large fire ring are located together so you can enjoy outdoor cooking and sitting by the fire under the stars. This cabin is not pet friendly.

Finished in the fall of 2010 at over 3000SF, Big Sky Cabin is the largest cabin we have built to date. It sits perched near the end of a mountain ridge in the midst of the 1500 Acre Resort. Our guests will not be dissapointed with this 4 bedroom 3 bath log home. Amenities include a new Hot Springs hot tub, wrap around porch, large kitchen and a view of miles of Cliffline. Big Sky was built with the idea of accommodating larger groups. This cabin is not pet friendly and would be a great choice if anyone in your group has pet allergies. As you walk in the front door and stand on the brazilian cherry hardwood, you will feel welcomed and know that you have chosen a great cabin that will fulfill all your requirements for a great vacation.

Almost Heaven is one of our newer homes that we built.  It offers breathtaking views of miles of unspoiled cliffline.  It has 4 bedrooms with a queen bed in each, and it also has 3 full bathrooms.  The lower level of this 3 story cabin has a bedroom with 2 twin beds and in the game room, a pool table and fireplace that leads out to the hot tub on the deck.  The 2 large decks are great for entertaining and outdoor grilling.  The firepit is a nice place to gather around in the evening sharing stories and toasting smores.  This cabin is ideal for large groups and family gatherings. This cabin is not pet friendly.

This lovely cabin, just completed in October 2011, is in a beautiful secluded setting and located, as its name suggests, on the edge of a cliff (well, a good 60-70 feet away). This large 2200 sq ft cabin is perfect for people wanting to get away and enjoy beautiful scenery right from the enormous deck of this 5 bedroom, 3 bath cabin. You can relax in the new jacuzzi hot tub on the back deck overlooking the cliffline, play a game of pool, snuggle around one of the two fireplaces, watch your favorite television program on one of the two televisions or catch up on e-mail.
