Located outside of Cliffview Resort, Cliffhanger's name does not say it all! Yes, it's quite close to the cliff, but it sits on a beautifully wooded and private lot near a small creek which flows over the 200-foot cliffside. The creek and falls are especially impressive during the spring or following rains. The cabin itself boasts a full-length deck across the front, a covered, open porch in the back, and a screened-in area. You are all set to enjoy the outdoors in any kind of weather. Since this cabin has two queen bedrooms, it is great for a single couple, two couples, two singles, or a family of three or four. There is a downhill/uphill gravel driveway, but you will find the setting and cabin worth it!  This cabin is located outside of Cliffview Resort off of a nearby ridge. Not recommended for motorcycles or low riding vehicles. Four wheel drive strongly recommended and extra caution with steep gravel driveway in wet weather.

The Cliffhanger cabin was fantastic. Everything was clean and as advertised. The cabin had good water pressure, the central heating and all appliances worked great with only the exception being the stove light, the decor matched the cabin theme perfectly, the cedar smell was a welcome surprise, the hot tub was easy to use and clean, the kitchen wares were very well stocked. We could say 100 more things great about the cabin and the only thing missing was that there were no directions on how to access Netflix on the TV; the instructions provided were obviously for a previous system. The wifi was good enough to stream movies (about 2MBs). We certainly plan to come back to this cabin again. It was a great weekend get away!

Cabin is beautiful! Very private and relaxing. Had a roaring fire. The trails behind the cabin are awesome; not the easiest trails, but a great adventure. The rock walls are extremely breathtaking , you must venture out.

We stayed at the brand new Cliffhanger cabin. It was AMAZING. It's totally secluded with an easy downhill gravel drive (in case of bad weather we were relieved that it wouldn't be slick/scary to get in and out.) There are no other cabins in sight. No other lights at all, in fact, other than the stars. The deck is spacious and the hot tub works like a dream. It was 102 when we arrived and we kept it at 105, which was perfect for the super cold nights. We loved the light feature on it too. Multiple colors to choose from. The furniture is comfy and in great shape. We loved the recliners! The beds were also really comfortable. Plenty of pillows and extra blankets. Bathrooms are well appointed. Nice kitchen space with all the essentials. And in better repair than what many cabins offer. Real glasses. Lots of pans, pots, utensils, including spatulas, serving spoons, a bottle opener, etc. Like cooking at home. You will need to bring your own blender. There's a nice round table with four chairs, perfect for cards. This cabin also came with a nice flat screen tv and free access to Netflix, as well as cable TV. The wifi works really well. And we even had good cell signal on the porch - for making calls and sending texts. The decor is really fun. Reminded me of Northern Exposure. Lots of cute (not cheesy) bear and moose decor. The thermostat is programmable and the cabin stayed plenty warm. As much as we loved the cabin, what I really want to review is the staff. Christie was fabulous to work with. She spent so much time with me on the phone just helping me find the right cabin. And then all the emails I got were laid out really well, clear to understand, etc. They even included driving directions from my home address. And then once we were there, she did everything to make sure our stay was superb. We will definitely be back again. The sooner the better.

We just spent the weekend in the new Cliffhanger cabin and enjoyed it immensely. It was a grgbeat privilege to be the first renters, very exciting! The fireplace was and is terrific, not only great in providing welcome heat but also great to look at. My kids have been outside camping for the last 4 months and your cabin was a VERY welcome retreat for them and a true luxury. It provided a wonderful, warm inviting atmosphere to just sit, talk, laugh and enjoy each other’s company. We will definitely book it again if we are ever back in the area. Thanks, and sincerely, Lisa and Mark
