As the sun grew higher the day blossomed into clear and energizing warmth keeping your outdoor adventures going til just after sundown. You are now exhausted, every muscle tapped and tired. You long for a cool (or warm) drink, a comfortable seat and time to share stories of the day with your friends. Lucky for you it’s only a short jaunt up the hill to your cabin. After a 5-10 minute walk from the valley floor (depending on your state of exhaustion) you rinse off the day's dirt and relax into the swing on the porch or the soothing water of the hot tub. Refreshing drink in hand you toast to the day's adventures and dream of tomorrow's possibilities.
MUIR VALLEY
Climb-On Cabin is currently one of only 2 guest lodgings on Muir Road bordering the 360 acre Muir Valley Nature and Climbing Preserve. Walled in by over seven miles of majestic cliffs of hard Corbin Sandstone, Muir Valley hosts over 400 climbs – both trad and sport, providing a spectacular experience to visitors from all over the world.
Waterfalls, caves, and mountain streams add to the natural beauty. Mountain laurel, rhododendron, and many other species of wildflowers and plants grace the valley floor and hillsides. The well maintained trails and the natural habitat provide an oasis for climbers and non-climbers alike. Your stay in the Climb-On cabin gives you a unique experience in this world famous climbing preserve.
ABOUT THE CABIN
Climb-On Cabin was built and is owned by Yosemite Valley's iconic Hans Florine and wife, Liesbet Bickett.. It’s become one of their favorite places to play and rest. They delight at their opportunity to share their little piece of heaven with fellow adventurers like you. With 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths there is ample space for your crew to rest and recreate. The cabin boasts a hot tub and a BBQ, a fire pit, 3 Queen Beds, a Smart TV, and a well stocked kitchen to cook up all the after adventure meals your body and soul need.
