This luxurious tri-level mega cabin with exhilarating views overlooking the Red River Gorge is one of the most unique properties in the area. At nearly 1,300 feet in elevation, and with clifftops within 25' on three sides of the land peninsula on which the lodge is situated, Forest View Lodge is an amazing, picturesque destination for your family reunion, wedding, church group or corporate retreat. The development in which it is located (new in 2020) while definitely secluded, is still within 20 minutes of the famous Red River Gorge Geological Area hiking trails and world class rock climbing (with the Gladie Visitor Center only 30 minutes away).  Also, you will be only 35 minutes from Cave Run Lake and 15 minutes from the town of Frenchburg, KY.

With ten bedrooms, eleven bathrooms and expansive gathering spaces, this location would be perfect for hosting a family reunion, wedding party, church group or corporate retreat. There are two king bedrooms with ensuite baths, six queen bedrooms with ensuite baths and two bedrooms with queen over queen bunk beds and ensuite baths. As an added bonus, each bedroom includes a television as well as a quality full size futon that will comfortably sleep two adults. Bedrooms on the cliff view side feature a sliding glass door, affording guests access to a deck for admiring the fantastic cliff line views!

The kitchen/dining space is well equipped for large groups featuring a commercial grade refrigerator/freezer, two ranges, two microwaves, two dishwashers, two coffee pots and plenty of counter space. Beautiful wooden dining tables and chairs as well as seating around the islands makes for an ideal space for sharing a home-cooked meal with friends or family. In the connected living area, you’ll find plenty of lounging space, a state-of-the-art electric fireplace and huge windows on nearly every wall that allow guests to enjoy the outdoor views from the inside. Large multipurpose rooms on each level create awesome gathering spaces for pool, poker or shuffleboard. 

Outdoors, you’ll find a beautiful stone wall that wraps around the rear of the cabin creating a private patio space with a fire pit and seating. A massive 13’ long hot tub is situated on the cliff view side of the cabin.
