Who is Red River Gorge Cabin Rentals?
 

We are a family owned company that believes very strongly in providing the best vacation experience that we can for you and your family. It is important to us because we understand that in our world today families don't get the chance to "get away" very often. So we feel responsible to you to provide clean fully stocked cabins and a fun atmosphere.

What is provided in the cabins?
 

The cabins and yurts are provided with pillows and linens in the bedroom.  Bathrooms have hand towel, bathtowels, wash cloths and hand soap.  Kitchens are provided with wash cloth, kitchen towel, oven mits, dish soap, dishwasher soap (if needed), plates, cups, eating utensils (forks, knives, spoons), basic pots and pans (skillets) that you would usually see in a box set.  Basic cooking utensils. Cutting board, mixing bowl.  Please notify the office if you are needing anything for the kitchen.  We do keep a small supply in storage.  

Strongly suggest bringing specific cooking items if you are needing a special size casserole dish or crock pot.  We do not provide any storage containers. Ziplock bags, aluminum foil or wrap may be needed.


 



What should I bring?
 

The most important is to print out the directions to your cabin from this website.

Suggested Items:

Coffee and drinks (a must)

Food storage containers with lids (or large ziplock bags) for leftovers or chips, etc

Plastic wrap/ aluminum foil

Favorite spices including salt/pepper and cooking oil/ spray

Charcoal and necessary items (lighter fluid, matches etc)  if grilling on charcoal grill

Firewood can be purchased at the front office for $5/ bag (please do not bring wood with you!!!)

Marshmallows, graham crackers, & chocolate (for s’mores!)

Flashlight, bug spray, sunglasses, water bottles, hat, comfortable shoes,fishing pole and KY fishing license

Shampoo/deodorant/body soap & face soap/toothbrush & toothpaste & floss, etc

Bring extra blankets if you feel you might need them. We do have some up at the front office just in case.

We supply 1 towel and 1 wash cloth per person, please bring more if you think you will need more than one for your stay. You can exchange towels/wash cloths by bringing them to our office.


 



What about wildlife?
 

Well--This is the outdoors. We have deer, grouse, bobcats and turkeys (called gobblers down here). We have a large varity of critters including but not limited to lady bugs and bees which occasionally find their way into the cabins. Remember, we are invading their home! I have never seen a snake in the cabins, but if you go running through the woods and lifting up rocks and fallen branches, you might find one! There is a list of local medical clinics in each cabin.


 



Check In Check Out Times
 

Check In is anytime after 4:00 PM on day of arrival.

Checkout is anytime before 11:00 AM on morning of departure.

At Red River Gorge Cabin Rentals we recognize that privacy is important. This Privacy Policy applies to all products and services provided by us.

Collection of Information

We collect various information when you sign up, register or rent with us during your usage of our products and services. We may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from other partners or other companies in order to provide you a better experience or to improve the quality of our services. When you sign up, register or book our services, you are not anonymous to us. We automatically receive and record information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, our cookie information, software and hardware attributes, the page you request and other standard browser parameters.

When you use our services, we send one or more cookies - a small file containing a string of characters - to your device that uniquely identifies your browser. We use cookies to improve the quality of our service, including for storing user preferences, tracking user trends, and providing you with a better experience. We may set one or more cookies in your browser when you use our services or one of our partner's services. When you post material or transmit information, we may retain the same in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services.

Our infrastructure consists of servers that are owned and operated by us or our partners. All information collected within our services resides on this network of servers.

No-Spam Policy

We have a strict No-Spam Policy prohibiting the use of any data collected to send spam. We will not sell any contact information to third parties.

We require that these parties agree to process such information based on our instructions and in compliance with this Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

    (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request,
    (b) enforce the Rental Agreement, including investigation of potential violations thereof,

    (d) protect against harm to rights, property or safety, of our users, us or the public as required or permitted by law.
  • We may share with third parties certain pieces of aggregated, non-personal information, such as the number of users by demographic. Such information does not identify you individually.

 

Information Security

We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.

We restrict access to personal information to our employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.

How do I reserve a cabin?
 

You can reserve online by clicking on the desired arrival date on the calendar (that shows the availability) located on the same page as your desired cabin. A screen will pop up and just follow the instructions given. You may also reserve over the phone with one of our office staff  during regular business hours at 606-668-3272. After business hours, you can call Sandy at 859-409-0024. Thanks for your interest!


 



Does any cabin allow smoking inside?
 

None of the cabins allow smoking inside.  There are ash trays available outside for guests to use if they choose.  We ask that all of our guests extinguish their cigarettes and cigars completely before placing in trash bin. 


 



What is the rental agreement?
 

Guidelines

  • You must be 21 years of age or older to rent a cabin.
  • Check in is 4 PM or later.
  • Checkout is 11 AM or earlier.
  • No smoking in the cabins; ashtrays are provided outside.
  •  No sitting on hot tub covers.  Additional charges of $200 or more will occur if damage is done to the covers.
  • Quiet hours for all cabins is 11 pm to 7:00 AM daily
  • ATV's are not permitted in the Resort.
  • No Guns or Firearms allowed.
  • No loud house parties – you may be evicted and/or charged additional fees if you create a disturbance that require on site security or police intervention.
  • We are not responsible for any accidents that may occur during your stay.

When Leaving the Cabin, Please

  • clean the dishes & let them dry in the sink (or run dishwasher)
  • put the trash in the trash bin outside- all trash must be in bags
  • adjust the heat to 60 in the winter and the AC to 80 in the summer
  • return the key (if there is one) to the lock box for the cleaning crew

Payment: online is made through Authorize.net, or calling to charge your Mastercard/Visa/Discover or American Express. Payment in full is due at the time of the reservation. A one time cleaning fee is applied and varies based on the size of the cabin or yurt. Partial payment is acceptable with 50% down, however, we will need to take the reservation over the phone for this method of payment. Cash can be used for the remaining balance however credit card is still required to have on hold.  

  • 10% charge is added to all reservations for taxes and fees.
  • Returned checks will be forwarded to a collection agency and charged an additional $29.

Cancellations:  You must notify us 21 days prior to the date of your reservation for a  full refund minus five percent to cover our cost of bank charges. If less than 21 days we can offer you a partial refund contingent upon our ability to fill the dates of your reservation.

Refunds: No refunds will be made due to weather conditions or other acts of God. No refunds will be made due to electrical outages, mechanical failure of appliances, or hot tubs. If there is a problem please notify us immediately so we can correct the problem. In the rare event of a scheduling conflict we will offer you another cabin or give you a full refund.

Additional Fees:  We have experienced the occasional renter who shows very little regard for the peaceful enjoyment of this community, or the personal property of our cabin owners. Therefore, we have the following guidelines in place to handle these situations. 

  • Loud Parties: In the event that security, police or management is called to the property due to unruly behavior, profanity, use of firearms (or anything of that nature) and or continuous excessive noise, Red River Gorge Cabin Rentals reserves the right to charge an additional fee of $200.00.
  • Excessive Cabin Cleanup: The vast majority of our guests leaves the cabin very clean and follows the above instructions. Unfortunately on a rare occasion we have guests who do not.  We reserve the right to charge your card a minimum of $50 for excessive cleaning. We will call you first to discuss the matter.
  • Damage: Accidents happen- like one man who walked through a screen door, or the child who decided take the remote control into the bathroom to see if it would float! In these cases we have always worked out a fair solution to replace/repair the damage. We reserve the right to charge your card for damages done. We have never had the occasion to do so (and hope we never will), so please contact us if there is a problem so we can work it out together before you leave.

Is tenting allowed inside Cliffview Resort?
 

Sorry, but no tenting is allowed inside Cliffview Resort unless it has been approved by the Homeowners Association & Cliffview Resort owner.  Feel free to contact us and we would be happy to assist you in locating a place to tent outside the resort.


 



Is there a cleaning fee?
 

Yes. We have recently added one time cleaning fee to help curb the rising costs for upkeep of the cabins and yurts which is more reasonable than increasing the daily rates.  This cost helps to cover the routine cleanings between visitors and to maintain all ammenities provided at the cabin.


 



What are the Restrictions for Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals?
 
  • All of the deals offered on Black Friday, Small Business Saturday Cyber Monday are only available on NEW Reservations made AFTER November 27, 2015 at 9:00am and BEFORE December 1, 2015 at 11:59pm. 
  • Deal cannot be combined with any other offer.
  • Reservation MUST be made by calling office directly at 844MYCABIN! 
  • Reservations must be redeemed no later than August 31, 2016.  NO EXTENSIONS WILL BE ISSUED.
  • Deals and gift certificates not vaild on holidays and other special dates.
  • Contact office for specific cabin restrictions.
  • purchase of deal does not gaurentee reservations.  Purchaser MUST contact office to make reservations and to redeem the deal. 
  • Must present confirmation of purchase to redeem. 
  • Not valid on Saturday reservations at THRILLSVILLE.
  • Must provide valid credit card on file to make reservation.
  • Full payment for stay must be made at time of reservation.
  • No refunds or rain checks will be issued for voucher amount in the event a trip cannot be made.
  • Deal ONLY applies to rental rate unless otherwise stated.  DOES NOT cover cleanings costs, taxes, pet fees or other fees associated with the rental, unless otherwise stated.
  • FREE nights will be the least expensive nights durning stay. Purchase of 2 nights at regular price required.
  • Normal rental policies apply. (i.e., see rental agreement)


 



Is there a pet fee if we wish to bring a pet?
 

Yes.  There is a one time $50 pet fee per pet.  This is nonrefundable.  Some cabins are not pet friendly while other cabins have specific pet restrictions.  Please feel free to ask our staff if you have any questions or concerns regarding this.
